Info: I was contacted by Eric Sherman of Pravda and he has this to say: “… besides the over 50 brands of vodka, we have the largest selection of absinthe of any bar in New Orleans, maybe the whole U.S.. We serve in the French traditional style, but if you want fire we will light the suger cube. Our stock varies from time to time, but as I write we have 20 different choices. Of course we have Lucid, and Kubler 53, but we also have Nouvelle Orleans, Francois Guy, Obsello, Trul 1792, Pernod, and many others.” Sounds great!

Info: Cocktail number 064: Absinthe ‘75 is a cousin to Death in the Afternoon and sounds divine. Their absinthe list is a long one and includes: Absente, Grande Absente, Grüne Fée, Kubler, La Fée, Le Tournment, Lucid, Mata Hari, Pernod, St. George, Versinthe, Vieux Carré, Leopold Brothers, and Claudestine [sic] which I would guess is actually Clandestine.
