It didn’t take more than a few days for tiny green sprouts to show in this, my latest attempt, at growing my own Wormwood. I don’t plan on making my own absinthe, but I do like the plant, Artemisia Absinthium. I had several growing at my last residence in the US, but have not found Wormwood in any garden centre I’ve visited here in the UK. That leaves me the enjoyable option of growing my own from seed.
I’m pleased to share my progress:

So far, so good. I have had tremendous success with sprouting a pinch of seeds from this batch from Seedaholic.

I had a packet from another company, but it refused to sprout and so I gave up and tried the seeds from Seedaholic. It’s on their growing instructions that I based my post last week and I’m getting wonderful results. For a greenhouse, I have housed my delicate little green dudes under an empty solid-bottomed strawberry tub. Fingers crossed, I should have another positive Wormwood update in the next few weeks.
“Green dudes”…you know, that could be a good codename for HG peeps.:)
