Another New US Absinthe on the Way

You’ve heard me gush about Meadow of Love and not-so-gush about Lucid. Well, the United States is in for another Absinthe Superieure on the shelves and I’m crossing my fingers it’s a good one for my former homeland.
Germain-Robin is California brandy distiller and has yet to update their somewhat clunky website to trumpet the new absinthe offering, but this article over at 7×7 has some scoop.

Just saw this as the top absinthe link on Twitter. The producer’s comment below is somewhat misleading when he states that other absinthes “only wish they were [sweet]“. And an apple-honey base? A lot of purists are going to have some words about that.
I need to get some rest soon, but tomorrow, I’ll be contacting the distillery.
